The Chancery Rosewood Hotel
This evening, I was invited to the beautifully refined Rosewood Chancery Hotel, a firm favourite of mine, for an intimate introduction to the beauty brand Drunk Elephant. As someone entirely new to the brand, it felt like the perfect setting to discover its philosophy, with a particular focus on formulations designed for sensitive skin, something that immediately caught my attention.

For the occasion, I wore a two-piece set from Aavelle, my friend Lauren’s label. The look, a crisp shirt paired with a flowing skirt, felt like the very essence of spring dressing: light, effortless and elegant. I’ve been waiting for the weather to finally justify wearing it, and tonight felt like the perfect moment. I styled it with white sandals (sadly now sold out, but I’ve linked similar options) and a classic tote from River Island, with an alternative currently available in stock.

Beauty-wise, I leaned into a soft, luminous finish. A sweep of Clé de Peau Beauté highlighter gave the skin a radiant glow, paired with their Precious Lipstick in shade four, a delicate peach-pink that feels perfectly in tune with the season.

My ever-present essential, the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Powder, came along as always, a true handbag hero for keeping shine at bay while maintaining that flawless, soft-focus finish. For fragrance, I chose Prada Paradoxe, a beautifully balanced scent with notes of pear layered over a musky, powdery base that feels undeniably spring-ready.

Spending the evening at the Rosewood was, as always, a pleasure. Having stayed there earlier this year, I already knew how exceptional it is, from its serene spa to its rich history as the former American Embassy, now thoughtfully transformed into one of London’s most striking hotels. Experiencing it this time over an elegant dinner made it feel all the more special.

It was the perfect introduction to Drunk Elephant, and there’s certainly more to come. Consider this just the beginning.
