There’s something rather magical about stepping away from the bright lights of Las Vegas and discovering the breathtaking landscapes of the Nevada desert. During my recent trip, we headed out in the iconic Pink Jeeps to shoot the Karen Millen Autumn/Winter coat collection, surrounded by dramatic red rock formations, rugged sandstone cliffs and endless desert scenery.
The rich terracotta tones of the landscape created the most incredible backdrop for the collection, bringing together the beauty of the American Southwest with timeless British style. It was a real adventure and such a memorable setting for showcasing some of the season’s most beautiful outerwear.
One of my favourite pieces from the collection is this stunning ivory belted midi coat from Karen Millen. Elegant, timeless and wonderfully versatile, it features a luxurious detachable Mongolian wool-blend fur collar, giving you two completely different looks in one.
Keep the collar on for a glamorous statement that feels perfect for the colder months, or remove it to reveal a beautifully tailored ivory coat with a more understated, classic silhouette. The belted waist creates a flattering shape, while the full midi length adds to its sophisticated appeal.
