WHAT I WORE IN MARRAKESH, Holiday Style Reimagined.

Let’s talk Marrakech holiday style.

With so many of us heading off on trips at the moment, I wanted to share a little outfit inspiration from my time in Marrakech, along with some of the pieces I reached for again and again. When I pack, I always take cues from the destination, and Marrakech naturally calls for colour, fluid shapes, and a touch of gold.

I tend to dress with the climate in mind, I burn quite easily, so I often lean towards more covered-up pieces. That said, I’ve come to realise that coverage can feel just as alluring. A magenta kaftan from Club L London is a perfect example, it offers full coverage while still feeling incredibly feminine. The colour works beautifully against the city’s warm tones, and it comes in several variations, though the brighter shades feel especially at home here.

I styled it simply with gold accessories, a pair of gold stilettos, and earrings from Alexis Bittar, a brand known for its intricate, statement pieces. I finished the look with my Tory Burch Eleanor bag, which always feels more like a piece of jewellery than a handbag, particularly for evening. This was the outfit I wore for a rooftop dinner at El Fenn, an unforgettable setting and the perfect backdrop for something a little more elevated.

Another standout was a terracotta dress from ASOS Arrange collection, detailed with subtle gold accents. The structure is particularly flattering and contours the body without feeling restrictive.

Accessories remained consistent throughout the trip. A pair of Louis Vuitton sunglasses, picked up at the airport, quickly became a staple, paired with almost every look. For beauty, I used Clé de Peau Beauté across both skincare and makeup, and my skin genuinely felt at its best by the end of the trip.

Although the days are warm, Marrakech evenings can be cooler, so layering is worth considering. I wore a navy version of the kaftan for a more understated option, styled with gold sandals, I’ve linked a similar pair from Ralph Lauren, and a bag from Le Parmentier. It’s a slightly more relaxed take, but still polished.

There are also those pieces that become part of your summer wardrobe year after year. A dress from Aaevelle is exactly that for me. I picked it up towards the end of last summer, but didn’t have much opportunity to wear it before the weather turned. It’s one I’ve been looking forward to bringing out this season, and it comes in a range of colours.

And finally, the standout. A “wow” dress from LEAU that can be styled up or kept minimal. I opted for gold accessories, including a cuff, belt, and a choker from Zara, which adds a slightly more elevated, almost ethereal finish.
