For this look, it all started with the lipstick. I’m wearing a beautiful white dress, so I wanted the makeup to feel polished, luminous and effortless, while adding a little drama through the lips. The Valentino Beauty Spike Ultimate Matte Lipstick in 115R was the perfect finishing touch.
The extra matte formula is infused with cotton oil extract and Valentino Beauty’s Roma-Light Complex, helping it glide smoothly onto the lips while delivering intense colour payoff and a long-lasting finish. It has that beautifully bold, high-impact look that instantly makes the rest of the makeup feel more elevated.
Before applying the lipstick, I lined my lips with the Rimmel Lasting Finish 8 Hour Lip Liner in 110 Spice, adding a little more definition and structure to the shape of my lips.
To keep the rest of the makeup fresh and luminous, I added the Clé de Peau Beauté highlight in Golden Galaxy 202, catching the light in all the right places, and finished the complexion with the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Brightening Flawless Finish for a soft, smooth and polished effect.
I love the contrast between the clean simplicity of a white dress and a statement lip. The white keeps everything feeling fresh and elegant, while the Valentino lipstick brings the colour, confidence and drama. Sometimes, one lipstick really does make the whole look.
