I’ve been using the Prada Touch Blush in shade Mauve recently, and what I like most about it is that it doesn’t give that obvious pink blush look. The tone is deeper and slightly red, so it looks more like a natural flush in the skin rather than makeup sitting on top. It actually reminded me of something makeup artist Rose-Marie Swift once said about using red blush instead of pink on Victoria’s Secret models because red tones look closer to the way skin naturally flushes from heat or movement.
Even though the colour looks quite deep in the compact, once blended it softens into a diffused flush that makes the skin look healthier and more awake without looking too “done.” The texture is also really good. It starts creamy, blends easily, then settles into a soft blurred finish instead of staying overly dewy or sticky.
I’ve been pairing it with the Prada lip gloss/oil as well, which gives just enough shine without feeling heavy on the lips.
