Discovering Polène Paris

I was recently invited to visit the beautiful Polène Paris store on Regent Street, right at the Piccadilly end, and it was such a lovely experience. If you are in London, it is really easy to get to and definitely worth a visit if you love handbags and jewellery.

Size & Fit: For reference, I’m 5ft 4in (163 cm) and typically wear the smallest size available from most brands.
First of all, the store itself is incredible. The architecture and interior design are so beautifully considered, with sculptural details, natural materials and a very understated, luxurious feel. It feels more like stepping into a beautiful design space than a traditional handbag store.

I was shown around the collection and got to see so many of the bags up close. These are some of the pieces that really stood out to me, including the Numéro Neuf Mini in Textured Black, which was my favourite and the one I chose for myself.

I love the shape of the Numéro Neuf Mini. It feels classic but still very modern, and the black textured leather makes it such an easy everyday bag. I also loved the Numéro Neuf East West and the Mokki in Textured Taupe, which is such a beautiful neutral.
What I really like about Polène is that the bags feel distinctive without being covered in logos. The focus is on the shape, the leather and the craftsmanship, which gives everything that effortless Parisian feel.

I was also introduced to the Polène jewellery collection, and honestly, the jewellery took my breath away a little bit. I particularly loved the Eroz Cuff in 24 Carat Gold Gilded, which I picked up during my visit. The pieces are sculptural and organic, with beautiful irregular shapes that make them feel like little works of art.

If you are someone who loves statement jewellery, but prefers something a little more understated and unusual, I think you will really love this collection. For my visit, I wore a Marks & Spencer bodysuit from their London Fashion Week collection with a pencil skirt, keeping the outfit fairly simple so that the bags and jewellery could do the talking.

I wanted to introduce you to Polène because it is a brand I genuinely love. Whether you are looking for your next everyday handbag, something a little more special, or beautiful jewellery to elevate a simple outfit, I think Polène is definitely one to have on your radar.
